GW, it is one of the reasons I purchased my Henry 38Spl/357 Mag carbine last fall. Going to play with it some when I get enough milk jugs and my grandson's chronograph on hand.

RE: the BLR take down, I've wondered just how hard it would be to make a barrel for it - it has a "barrel extension" much like an AR-15 that the bolt locks into.

Back when I got mine, in .358, because that was the cheapest one in the store but I sorta liked the idea and I did already have a Ruger Frontier in .358, but I had in mind sending it to Browning and have a .308 barrel fitted.

Since they make a .223 I wonder if they will ever consider a .300 Blackout - just due to noise issues I could see that having an advantage for a home defense gun - if you have ever fired a .223 indoors you might be in for a big shock! And bigger cased rifle rounds can be even noisier!
