Due to the amount of info presented, the heat, and the travel involved afterward, some of the Hoot & Shoot has tended to blur a bit.

I remember drinking a lot of cold water, and then drinking some more.
I remember shooting Russ's flintlock jaeger!
I remember seeing more vests than I ever have, and a lot of biiig shirts, worn open. (I'm trying to forget Evan's shirts, without success, unfortunately.)

I'm considering buying a vest, so should have asked more questions of those who were wearing them.

I've been dragging since I got home but may make it out to shoot Monday. I have new drills courtesy of Evan and Jim and homework couresy of Keith.

On the way back, I picked up a Smith 19-5 that was downstate getting a duty tune. It's very smooth now, and I plan to try the drills with it, and with a Colt Commander 9mm that I had with me but didn't shoot at the H&S.

Big regrets: I didn't eat enough blueberries, or shoot Evan's FAL.

Big plan: show up next year in better shape.

Though your brain may be blurred, at least you made it home safe and sound. I trust everyone else did too.

I can't wait for posted pictures!

I agree that the good people on this forum need not worry about appearing in any fashion spreads. It got the job done, and nobody on the line looked like easy pickings. It's not very often that I encounter people wearing shirts that are as loud as my shoes.

Results, not reputations.

Mel,

Have run a few questions past a couple of finishers......

Are you sure you really want the rifle to match your favorite pair of racing flats? ;)

It can be done, and for reasonable cost, but the obvious "Glow" penetrating the basement windows might draw some attention!!!!!!!!!

Was good meeting you,and having yet another "Solid" on the line.

Keep safe up there!

ACP,

And folks thimk that I wear the Oakleys for a style statement!!!!

Evans garb simply requires "Thermo-nuclear protection"!!!!!!!!!;)

As for the regrets.

Stay in touch.
Ya ain't too far away not to be a neighbor.

"Flannel season" is looming!

Mind the skeeters and black flys!
Stay hydrated!
Never quit.
(I noticed ya didn't, when lesser folks would have!)

And stay local!

Was good having ya!

Keep Safe!
