I read I think it was in the last rangemaster newsletter that Super-Vel has been resurrected, but I haven't seen or heard anything more, supposedly Lee Juras gave his permission prior to his death. Wondering if anyone else has heard anything.
Just curious.

Lee sold the rights to it years ago and it was produced for a period of time.

Remember it is very, very old technology-I bought it in 1970 when I was a rookie cop in Detroit. I prefer Cor Bon DPX but there are a number of more modern offerings!

Doing a quick search, it appears to be the case. 9mm in 147 gr, 115 gr and 90 gr flavors. .38 Spl, .45 ACP and .223 are also listed on the web site. Shipping is only $4.99.

Since you mentioned Corbon, I've been having harder time lately finding much of their stuff, any idea why?

Or better any places that are stocking much of it?

Specially looking for the 44 magnum 165 load & 10mm hunting loads.

FWIW, I'm finding that Barnes ammo--- which appears to be similar to Corbon DPX--- is a lot more available.

Cb can not keep up with the demand and the demand for CB is huge.

Barnes ammo generally performs well in the Lucky Gunner tests.

I've found Barnes to be OK but we all have our preferences and, personally, I really like Cor-bon as a company (mostly because I like its people), so I go out of my way to patronize them.

Case in point: .308

Corbon: 130 gr T-DPX @ 3000 fps
On sale for $49.46 (down from $55.44) on the CB website, but out of stock; not available anywhere else that I can find.

Barnes: 130 gr T-TSX @ 3125 fps
Available at a couple places, just bought some on Lucky Gunner for $39.75.

Kind of a 'bird in the hand' sitatuon, yes...?

So you don't think Barnes is up to Corbon quality?
