Fred offers a series of perceptive and literate observations about a number of subjects, including the police and their functional environment. His oservations about LE are not the belchings of effete liberal snobs who live on planets where the sky is a different color. I have posted his site for consideration in the appropriate thread. See "Cop Columns" for his experiences involving his time as a police reporter. The rest is entertaining and thought provoking commentary on a number of subjects. Offered for the consideration of the civilized and cultured people who frequent this lyceum. |

"Who the heck is Fred?"
Fred is a literate, articulate observer of the decline of society, the economy, civilized behavior, honor, etc in the modern world. As a self-described cynic I have found Fred to present ideas that make me laugh or slap my forehead and say "Wow, I hadn't thought of that."
Give him a try. It's free and won't hurt you if you don't like his observations. |

Can you give us a link?
Last I heard the word "Fred" used was about 40 years ago when I was with IRS Intell.
In those days, we had to sign out guns from our supes.
Female agent wanted to go into a bad neighborhood and asked her supe for her revolver. He told her it wasn't that bad, and to take Fred with her.
She said, "I qualified with a 38, not with a Fred." |
"The answer is there is no answer." |
