I just picked up a like new g33 for $350. Seemed like a good deal so figured I would try it. How many of you have shot or carried one of these? What is your opinion on this gun?
Have some 125 gr gold dot for it. Is there a bad load for the 357 sig? Thanks. |

| I have found no bad loads for my Sig 229, I favor 135 gr Cor-Bon. |

The Gold Dot is good ammo.
I know a guy who carries a 33 as his BUG, he thinks very highly of it, and he is very much a "gun guy". |

| Found a pretty good deal on some ranger hp's as well. Assume they are pretty good since the other offerings from that Winchester line are good as well. I've been a fan of their 9, 40, and 45 ranger products. |

| Too bad shipping ammo is such a pain for a private individual. I have quite a bit of 357 Sig in different flavors and no longer the means to use it, I have taken it to a gun show but you need to find just the right person for it.... |

Mine often goes with me to the barn. I have used it to eliminate several predators during the past 5 or 6 years. It gets the job done, and I do feel the wind in my face due to the muzzle blast.
Lookup "Pocket Rocket" in the dictionary and you might see a picture of a G33. |

the key is confidence in what you carry-during 20 yrs in Detroit I often was restricted as to what I could carry-sometimes I complied with that and sometimes I didn't. Today I can carry what I want and usually carry a Glock 17, two spare mags, flashlight, Smith 642 and an HKS speedloader. DPX in both guns and Cor Bon PowRball in the mags. I carry PB because I currently only had 20 rnds of CB DPX.
had a SIG P239 in .357 SIG-a single stack gun it was easily concealed and recoil was ok. Air Marshal's and US Secret Service carry it using Gold Dot hp and the Air Marshal's had a shooting in an airport in Florida and the round worked fine. |

| Took it out and ran some fmj and hp through it. All functioned fine. Shot great and was surprised by the mild recoil. Was expecting worse. Think it will be a great cc. Liked it better than the g27 I used to have. |
