Last night I was going through a cabinet that had some boxes of ammo, when I ran across a box W-W 12 ga. 9 Pellet 00 Low recoil buckshot loads. I forgot I bought them. The number on the box is XB1200LR. Has anyone here ever shot this load?? I figure it should be fine for inside the house- Pattern wise- But how about at 20 yards? Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

should work fine-20 yards is realy pushing the envelope as we almsot never use deadly force in a sterile envrionment.

I have to remind myself that I'm a civilian now and proving self-defense at 20 yards would be a real feat in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. If I have enemies that might snipe at me at that distance I'm going to move out in the middle of the night. A good run is better than a bad stand.

Hmmm...
Bad guy with a gun at 20 yds? Looks like a target to me, and I'm retired too.
But yes, shooting people is something we try to avoid.

Nothing wrong with testing your weapons capability, I'd pattern it at 20yards and see how it does. I tested win super X 00 9shot at 25 yards and found I lost one pellet every shot on a sillouette with my 18'' 870. 20 might work for you, good luck.
