we lost one SWAT cop from LAPD and multiple officers in Mo.

Will get a detailed report on the LAPD shoot after this weekend.

The key is simply this-there are only two kinds of law enforcement agencies-those that have had officers killed and those that WILL have officers killed. There is no safe place to be in LE.

No traffic stop is ever routine and the same goes for other calls too if you let your guard down and become complacent then your dead. Those old guys at the Academy know their stuff so constantly practice the things they taught you.

...I eat at a restaurant in a "small" town near Dallas...two locals come in there alone and with family to eat regularly...NEVER carrying...as Duke said, there is no routine...today's the day what you've never imagined may happen...I bought one of them who was working plainclothes a second mag for his G19...he left it in the car...they've gone way past "I oughta" and are headed for "I wish I had"...they won't remember Bubba when he snaps...but he'll remember them...all you guys past and present be safe, wide awake, and well armed out there...
