Hi, over on Gunboards a poster is selling a MN and Mauser accuracy kit. Basically he's free floating the barrel. He's charging $24 but he has posted pictures and it's fairly simple. He supplies 4 shims and wraps the barrel to float the barrel. This I found odd, but it looks like it works. Most of the accuracy problems with the MN is due barrels but this may help. I'm not involved and don't own a MN, regards, Mike

I "glass bedded" the action in my MN, and placed a .030" shim over the barrel at the front barrel band which pressed the barrel down onto the fore end preventing any barrel whip. It was worth the effort.
