I took out my Glock 27 with the 357 sig conversion barrel. Gun was manufactured June of 2009. I have about 250-300 rounds through it.
Anyways I brought Speer lawman 125gr, Ranger 125gr and DPX 125 gr to the range today. The speer and rangers were flawless. The DPX had 3 failures to fire out of a box of 20. Each one had primer strikes and each one failed to ignite. All three did go off on the second attempt. Any insight? The firing pin channel is bone dry, I checked.

Well whiskeymike I guess that makes you and me!!! I have had no other problems with Corbon DPX before but 3 out of 20 rounds is quite disconcerting!!

Interesting.
The only failure(s) to fire I can ever remember with a Glock were with my G33 and C-B 125JHP.
At the same range session, it was 100% with Speer Lawman FMJ and Speer 155 GD JHP.

If the primer is hit hard then it's the ammo. Hornaday had some primer issues, from their primer supplier. It could be they are buying their primers from the same source. Call CB let them know.

When I said Sig conversion it is not a conversion barrel but a factory Glock G33 barrel. I put in a wolf extra power striker spring and will head out to range on Sunday. I have to say that rangers are the most inaccurate defense round out of all my Glocks. The speer Gold dot and Federal HST's are the most accurate.

I know someone with a G32 that won't function with Ranger ammo.

.357 Sig headspaces on the shoulder instead of the case mouth. This makes many guns in .357 Sig a little less tolerant of ammo variations that may be well within the parameters specified for the cartridge. Such issues do not necessary indicate any defect in either the gun or the ammo. Often there is simple incompatibility. No ammo maker can produce cartridges that are 100% reliable and very accurate in every gun and no gun maker can make pistols that will function flawlessly with any ammo.

call CB, but such barrels are often problamatical
